Born and raised in Windsor, Canada, border town to Detroit, USA. Dave worked as a welder on an automotive assembly line.
After his bout building minivans he headed to school to study photography, an interest held since his younger days. He quickly found himself on the road shooting assignments from skateboarding editorials to indie fashion campaigns. His work has appeared in galleries across North America and Europe and in publications such as Vogue Italia, Vanity Fair, and Harper's Bazaar.
Settled in Toronto, Dave is bringing his singular style and inclusive process to the iic studio. On set Dave exudes a quiet confidence. He's learned trough years of experience that the best ideas and results happen when everyone involved is calm, comfortable and totally at ease.
When not shooting or grilling at the studio Dave can probably be found trying to squeeze in some quality time with his dog Mae and cat Sophie.
